The dollar remains stable and the yen recovers from its lowest level

The dollar was largely stable today, with the gains it achieved thanks to the demand for safe-haven assets fading after US President Donald Trump announced that the war with Iran may end within weeks.

The yen recovered from its lowest level this year at 160.46 against the dollar, and returned to the 160 level, which is considered psychologically important and had raised fears of intervention by the Japanese authorities. The euro reached its highest level in more than a week.
