The Iraqi Prime Minister directs the prosecution of those involved in targeting diplomatic institutions and missions and kidnapping foreigners

The Iraqi Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, stressed the pursuit of those involved in targeting vital institutions, diplomatic missions, and kidnapping foreigners.
During his visit to the headquarters of the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency in the Iraqi Ministry of Interior, Al-Sudani stressed the need to take the utmost measures to pursue those involved in these hostile actions that harm the country’s reputation and harm the interests of citizens.
He also stressed the need to make every effort to maintain internal security, explaining that there will be no red lines before implementing the law, regardless of the parties against whom the law is required to be implemented, and it cannot be tolerated.
During the visit, Al-Sudani also stressed the necessity of full preparedness, continuous follow-up, and the perpetuation of the intelligence effort, in order to maintain the stability achieved and repel all threats facing Iraq, whatever their source, especially in light of the war the region is witnessing and the escalation in the intensity of the conflict.
