The Speaker of the Arab Parliament strongly condemns the blatant Iranian attack on the Al-Ajban area and the Habshan gas facilities

The Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Yamahi, expressed his strong condemnation and denunciation of the sinful Iranian attack that led to the fall of shrapnel on the Al-Ajban area, resulting in the injury of a number of civilians, as well as the attack that targeted the Habshan gas facilities, resulting in one civilian casualty and injuries.
Al-Yamahi stressed that these blatant Iranian attacks, which affected civilian areas and vital installations, represent a blatant violation of international law, a direct threat to the lives of civilians, and a dangerous escalation that would undermine security and stability in the region.
The President of the Arab Parliament called on the international community, especially the UN Security Council, to fulfill its political, legal and moral responsibilities, and to take a firm stance to stop and put an end to these attacks.
He also affirmed the Arab Parliament’s full solidarity with the UAE, and with the Arab countries that are exposed to such attacks, and its support in all the measures it takes to protect their security and stability, and preserve their sovereignty and territorial integrity.
