Trump did not endorse the mediators’ proposal for a 45-day ceasefire with Iran

The White House confirmed on Monday that the United States is considering a proposal put forward by the mediators for a ceasefire with Iran for 45 days, but President Donald Trump “has not approved it” and is continuing with the joint war with Israel against the Islamic Republic.
American media reported on Monday that the mediating parties between Tehran and Washington, namely Pakistan, Turkey and Egypt, had submitted this proposal. In response, a White House official confirmed that the proposal “is one of several ideas presented, and the president has not approved it. The process of epic anger continues.”
The official reminded that Trump will hold a press conference and speak in more detail on Monday.
On Monday, Reuters reported from an informed source that Pakistan had sent a plan to end hostilities to Iran and the United States, which may come into effect today and lead to the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
The source added that Pakistan prepared a framework for ending hostilities, and it was handed over to Iran and the United States overnight, explaining that it is based on a two-stage approach, and begins with an immediate ceasefire followed by a comprehensive agreement.
