836 thousand users of public transportation services in Ajman during the first quarter, a growth of 18.2%

Ajman Transport Authority statistics showed that 835,834 users of public transportation services were registered during the first quarter of 2026, compared to 707,71 users during the same period in 2025, a growth of 18.2%, which reflects the increasing reliance on the public transportation system in the emirate.

This increase is driven by improving operational readiness and developing the services provided, which enhances the flow of movement and raises the level of customer satisfaction.

The Executive Director of the Public Transport and Licensing Corporation at the Ajman Transport Authority, Engineer Sami Ali Al Jallaf, confirmed that this growth reflects the continuous pace of development witnessed by public transport services, and the keenness to provide a safe and organized transportation experience that meets the needs of different segments of society.

He added that the Authority is continuing to implement its plans to modernize the transportation system and raise its operational efficiency, in a way that supports daily movement, contributes to improving the quality of life, and enhances the position of public transportation as a practical and sustainable option in the Emirate of Ajman.
