"Interior" Sign a memorandum of understanding with "Emirates Driving School" To enhance the strategic partnership

Abu Dhabi, 8 April / WAM / The Ministry of Interior signed a memorandum of understanding with the Emirates Driving Company, with the aim of providing an integrated package of privileges and quality services to the Ministry’s employees and their families, in appreciation of their efforts and dedication to serving the nation.

The memorandum comes within the framework of strengthening strategic cooperation between government agencies and the private sector, in a way that supports the adoption of best practices and improves the quality of services provided, within the system of shared national responsibility, and in a way that contributes to achieving the well-being of society and the happiness of workers.

The memorandum was signed by Brigadier General Engineer Hussein Ahmed Al Harithi, Chairman of the Federal Traffic Council, on behalf of the Ministry of Interior, while it was signed on behalf of the company by Khaled Al Shamili, CEO of the Emirates Driving Company.

Brigadier General Engineer Hussein Al-Harithi explained that this partnership comes within the framework of the Ministry of Interior’s keenness to provide the best services to its members and their families, by providing distinguished services, facilities and specialized training programs that qualify them to obtain driving licenses, in addition to enhancing joint cooperation between the two sides.

Al Harithi praised the company’s role as an effective strategic partner in spreading traffic awareness, stressing that this initiative comes within the ongoing efforts to enhance integration between the government and private sectors, and achieve common goals.

For his part, Khaled Al-Shamili stressed that the partnership with the Ministry of Interior embodies the commitment of the Emirates Driving Company to support the national agenda in the areas of traffic safety and quality of life, indicating that the company continues to employ its expertise and capabilities to provide advanced and innovative services that contribute to enhancing levels of road safety, in addition to its keenness to develop qualitative programs and initiatives with a sustainable impact.

The memorandum of understanding includes strengthening and developing joint strategic plans, goals and projects, exchanging ideas, experiences and proposals related to maintaining traffic safety, in addition to organizing periodic coordination meetings to discuss topics of common interest.
