Under the leadership of Saif bin Zayed..the Federal Bureau of Demographics reviews the developments of the national population framework 2031

Lt. General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Chairman of the Federal Demographics Council, chaired the Council meeting held in Abu Dhabi, where the most prominent developments in the National Population Framework (2031) were reviewed, and the priorities for the next phase were discussed in a way that enhances the country’s directions and vision towards building a more balanced, flexible and efficient population system, and reflects the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him.”

His Highness praised the efforts made to support the goals of the National Population Framework (2031), stressing the continued development of policies, initiatives and programs related to population sustainability, in a way that enhances the achievement of the “We Are the Emirates 2031” vision, the national strategic plan launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him.”

During the meeting, the Council reviewed the results of the sectoral indicators of the National Population Framework (2031), stressing the importance of developing flexible policies and programs capable of keeping pace with rapid changes and current challenges, in a way that ensures the sustainability of the population balance and supports the comprehensive development process for the nation and citizens. It also focused on setting work priorities for the next stage, foremost of which is enhancing the economic participation of citizens in vital sectors, improving productivity and benefiting from demographic diversity in keeping with development requirements and the state’s future priorities.

The Council also reviewed the executive plans related to the National Population Framework (2031), which were prepared by the strategic partners, and included a package of integrated projects and initiatives related to the framework’s axes, which contribute to accelerating the pace of implementation and achieving national targets with high efficiency.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Community Empowerment Shamma bint Suhail Al Mazrouei, Sheikh Salem bin Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of Culture, Minister of Family Sanaa bint Mohammed Suhail, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy and Tourism Abdullah Al Saleh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation Khalil Ibrahim Al Khouri, Member and Secretary General of the Federal Council for Demographics Dr. Saeed Abdullah Abdul Wahed Abdullah, Director General of the Office of His Highness the Minister of Interior Brigadier General Dr. Ali bin Dhaen Al Ghafli, and Humaid. Saeed Al-Darai, Dr. Wadha Saeed Al-Nuaimi, and Ali Muhammad Al-Junaibi, Assistant Secretaries-General of the Council.

At the conclusion of its meeting, the Council praised the distinctive population mix of the UAE, in which citizens and residents presented the most beautiful forms of loyalty and dedication, within a unique demographic composition, which is a unique model that embodies the values ​​of coexistence, tolerance and cultural diversity that were implanted by the Founding Fathers and whose approach is followed by our wise leadership and citizens.
