We are ready to resume fighting if diplomacy with Iran fails

Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Keane said on Wednesday that US forces are ready to resume fighting if Iran does not reach a negotiated settlement.

“We hope that Iran will choose permanent peace,” Kane said in a press conference at the Pentagon.

He added, “The ceasefire is just a truce, and the joint forces are ready to resume combat operations with the same speed and precision that we demonstrated during the past thirty-eight days if they are ordered or asked to do so.”
