Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan School for Generations in Al Ain launches the Distance Learning Champions Initiative

Al Ain, 9 April / WAM / The Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan School for Generations in Al Ain launched a qualitative community initiative under the title Distance Learning Heroes, under the patronage and support of Sheikha Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Cultural and Educational Institutions, with the aim of providing psychological and humanitarian support to students during the distance learning period recently approved by the state.

This initiative comes in line with the directives of the wise leadership, which affirms that the human being is the focus and goal of development, and for the Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Generations School to demonstrate its commitment to its comprehensive educational role, which is not limited to academic education, but extends to include building the human being and enhancing the quality of his life.

The initiative is based on strengthening bridges of direct human communication between the school and its students, as a field team from the school led by the school principal and with the participation of a number of administrators and teachers organizes home visits for the students in a warm, festive atmosphere aimed at raising their morale and enhancing their sense of belonging.

Sheikha Dr. Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan said that education, before it is a transfer of knowledge, is the building of the human being in its psychological and social dimensions, and the Distance Learning Heroes initiative embodies our commitment to ensure that the student remains the focus of attention and that he always feels that the school is present in his life, even in the most difficult circumstances, noting that the initiative represents a practical model of integration between the educational institution and society, and enhances the value of compassion and human communication, which are among the pillars of the Emirati identity.

For her part, Dr. Malika Boussif, the school director, explained that this initiative stems from their belief that the student needs humanitarian support as much as he needs education, stressing the keenness to be close to the students and make them feel that they are not alone.

For their part, the students and their families expressed their appreciation for this humanitarian gesture, which strengthened the spirit of reassurance and belonging, and contributed to creating a more balanced educational environment despite the challenges.
