4.72 billion dirhams in Dubai real estate transactions on Thursday

The real estate market in Dubai continued its strong start during April transactions, as real estate transactions today, Thursday, amounted to more than 4.72 billion dirhams, with sales reaching 2.5 billion dirhams, which reflects the continued strong demand for the real estate sector and the activity of the market movement in the emirate.
According to the data of the “Dubai Rest” application, affiliated with the Dubai Land Department, sales recorded more than 2.54 billion dirhams after implementing 837 transactions, distributed as 704 sales of residential units, 70 sales of buildings, and 63 sales of lands. Ready real estate sales amounted to about 891.13 million dirhams through the implementation of 202 deals, divided into 119 sales of residential units, 2017 sales of buildings, and 63 sales of lands, while sales of off-plan real estate amounted to about 1.65 billion dirhams, through 635 deals divided into 585 sales of residential units, and 50 sales of buildings. Real estate mortgages recorded 148 transactions worth 2.09 billion dirhams, distributed as 81 transactions for residential units, 24 transactions for buildings, and 43 transactions for land.
The real estate market witnessed the implementation of record mortgage transactions worth 1.5 billion dirhams, represented by the mortgage of two plots of land in the First Business Bay area worth 900 million dirhams, and another worth 600 million dirhams.
In turn, the value of the donations amounted to about 90.93 million dirhams, with 25 transactions distributed among 16 transactions for residential units, two transactions for buildings, and seven transactions for land.
Thus, real estate sales accounted for 53.67% of the total value of registered transactions, while mortgages accounted for 44.39%, and gifts accounted for about 1.93%.
It is noteworthy that the Dubai real estate market ended the first quarter of this year with record results, as sales jumped by 23.85% on an annual basis, reaching more than 175.88 billion dirhams, compared to sales amounting to 142 billion dirhams in the same period in 2025.
