المملكة: Video| Al-Founder University told Al-Youm: 19,000 graduates annually and 60% of the 2030 jobs are new.

Revealed King Abdulaziz University in Jeddahannounced radical transformations in its curricula to integrate «Artificial Intelligence”, and qualifying 19,000 graduates for amorphous future jobs, in response to the requirements of the labor market and Vision 2030.
This came on the sidelines of the thirteenth professional forum, which was sponsored by His Royal Highness Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of the Makkah Region, amid a remarkable attendance that reflects the importance of the event and its role in linking educational outcomes to the labor market.
Comprehensive Change
The Director of the University Education Development Center, A. D. Hani Bardisi told Al-Youm that 60% of the jobs in 2030 did not exist at the present time, which necessitated a comprehensive change to prepare graduates for global competition.
He indicated that the professional forum, which is sponsored by the Emir of Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region, attracted more than 40,000 male and female students, and witnessed the participation of 90 companies and 60 speakers who presented 29 guidance workshops.
Study Plans
Pardisi explained that the university has formed advisory committees from the industry and trade sectors to update study plans, in an effort to prepare a “Saudi citizen” who possesses the tools for excellence and leadership and achieves development goals.
He pointed to a proactive step represented by the inclusion of “Artificial Intelligence” courses in all specializations, in addition to the approval of a mandatory subject concerned with “labor market skills” to build leadership and teamwork capabilities.
He pointed out that traditional specializations such as medicine, engineering, and law will not disappear, but rather will be reshaped technically, citing the “cybersecurity” sector, which has turned into a vital specialization governed by employment guides and regulatory bodies.
Specific specializations
The director of the center revealed the infusion of about 19,000 male and female graduates this year to support national development, stressing the university’s full commitment to empowering women in specific specializations such as marine studies, earth sciences, and engineering specializations.
He stressed the continuation of the academic expansion strategy, and the availability of modern scientific paths for both genders to ensure maximum readiness in the face of accelerating labor market changes.
