In recognition of his intellectual career, Jamal Al-Suwaidi receives an award "Golden lion"
Rome, 9 April / WAM / The Venice International Grand Prix Foundation awarded His Excellency Professor Dr. Jamal Sanad Al Suwaidi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research, the international “Golden Lion” award, in recognition of his distinguished intellectual and cultural contributions at the regional and international levels.
His Excellency was chosen by the award committee, which is concerned with honoring individuals with qualitative influence in the intellectual and cultural fields at the international level, as the award is one of the most prestigious awards given to an elite group of thinkers and opinion makers who have contributed to enhancing human knowledge and consolidating the values of dialogue and openness.
His Excellency received the award yesterday, Wednesday, during his visit to the Italian Republic, in the presence of His Excellency Abdullah Ali Al-Sabousi, the UAE’s Ambassador to the Italian Republic, in confirmation that reflects the depth of the Emirati cultural presence on the international scene, and the appreciation of global institutions for the Emirati intellectual contributions.
His Excellency expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to the award committee for this honor, stressing that this international recognition represents an incentive to continue research and intellectual work aimed at serving issues of development and peace, and promoting a culture of coexistence and tolerance among peoples.
The granting of the award to His Excellency Dr. Jamal Sanad Al-Suwaidi comes in recognition of his continuous contributions to enriching Arab and international cultural life, and his prominent role in developing strategic studies, in addition to his contributions to supporting issues of peace and stability at the regional and global levels, through his writings and research, which receive wide attention in academic and intellectual circles.
His Excellency is considered one of the most prominent Arab thinkers who left a clear mark in the fields of political thought and academic work. During his career, he received a number of Arab and international honors and awards, in appreciation of his qualitative contributions to serving knowledge and promoting development paths and nation-building.
