Iranian media reports indicate major disagreements with America over the Strait of Hormuz

Iranian media reported major differences in the ongoing negotiations with the United States in Pakistan. Tasnim and Fars news agencies referred to “exaggerated (American) demands,” indicating that the Strait of Hormuz is a major sticking point.

Reports indicated that these demands hinder progress in the talks. Tasnim News Agency reported that the Iranian delegation insisted on “preserving military achievements,” in what may be a reference to Tehran’s missile program.

Despite this, the two reports made it clear that the biggest point of disagreement is the Strait of Hormuz and the issues related to it.
