“Diez” allows companies to pay rent in installments… and exempts them from administrative fees

The Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIZ) announced the launch of flexible economic facilities for companies operating within its three free zones, in support of the work of partners, and in an effort to enhance the companies’ ability to adapt to the surrounding temporary conditions.
The facilities, which will be implemented immediately, include companies operating in the three regions affiliated with “DIES”, namely: Dubai Airport Free Zone, Dubai Silicon Oasis, and “Dubai CommerCity”, within an integrated system that supports business continuity and enhances their operational flexibility.
This step comes in line with the economic trends of the Emirate of Dubai, which aim to establish a flexible and stable business environment, enhance the ability of companies to adapt to changes, and expand their business, in a way that supports the sustainability of economic growth in the emirate, and enhances the competitiveness of companies operating there and their investment attractiveness.
Support the business community
Dr. Mohammed Al Zarouni, CEO of the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority, said: “These facilities reflect Dies’s commitment to Dubai’s established approach to supporting the business community and enhancing the elements of its stability, by providing flexible solutions that respond to the requirements of the current stage and support the continuity of companies, in line with its complete keenness to translate the directives of the wise leadership into practical initiatives that enable companies to overcome various variables with confidence and stability.”
He added: “DIES continues to work on developing an integrated economic system based on flexibility and innovation, which enhances the position of the Emirate of Dubai as a global destination for investment and business, in order to achieve the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33). This initiative embodies the approach of the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority in enabling companies to adapt to current changes and make the most of future opportunities within a supportive and stimulating environment for growth.”
Reducing burdens
The facilities include a set of measures aimed at reducing the operational burdens on companies, which include stabilizing rents when renewing contracts, and exempting some administrative fees, which include fines for delaying the renewal of licenses, until the situation stabilizes, which provides greater flexibility in managing operational obligations.
Within these facilities, Dies also offers the option to pay rent in monthly payments, with a complete exemption from installment fees, with the aim of enhancing financial liquidity for companies and enabling them to continue their work efficiently and stably during this temporary phase.
Corporate flexibility
Diez also allows deferring the payment of shareholder amendment fees for a period of three months, in addition to exempting companies from fees for changing their organizational structure and fees for amending the authorized capital, which supports companies’ flexibility in restructuring their businesses and developing their operating models.
In the same context, the facilities provided by the Authority allow for postponing the payment of the application fees to amend the license activity for a period of three months, which gives companies additional space to expand and redirect their activities according to market requirements, and enhances their ability to seize new opportunities in various sectors.
This step reflects Diez’s keenness to provide practical and integrated solutions that enhance the confidence of the business community and contribute to building a vibrant economic environment capable of keeping pace with changes, supporting sustainable growth and enhancing Dubai’s competitiveness as one of the vital hubs of the global economy.
