Postponing the opening of children’s nurseries until further notice

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Social Affairs announced the postponement of the opening of children’s nurseries until further notice, in order to ensure the safety of children and workers, and until the completion of a study of the current conditions and an assessment of the extent of readiness.

Al-Rai website quoted sources in the ministry as saying that the decision to postpone was made until subsequent directives were issued in this regard, calling on nurseries to adhere to and follow up on any new instructions issued later.

She stressed that this measure comes within the framework of ensuring the highest levels of safety and ensuring the readiness of nurseries before resuming work and receiving children.
