المملكة: From today… residents wishing to enter the Holy City of Mecca will begin obtaining a permit
Confirmed General Security The implementation of the arrangements and procedures organizing the Hajj, which requires residents wishing to enter the city to enter Mecca at A permit to do so from the competent authorities, starting today, Monday, April 13, by preventing those who do not have a permit from entering the Holy Capital.
General Security stressed that the arrangements and procedures organizing this year’s Hajj 1447 AH will be implemented for those who do not have an entry permit to work in the Holy Sites issued by the competent authority, or a resident ID issued by the Holy Capital, or a Hajj permit.
He noted that the issuance of permits to enter the Holy Capital for residents working during the Hajj season is conducted electronically via platform "Preach individuals" and"Resident portal"through technical integration with the unified digital platform for issuing Hajj permits (Establishment Platform).
