المملكة: 4 new procedures… strict controls for entering Mecca as the Hajj season approaches – urgent

Declared has issued a number of arrangements and procedures aimed at preserving the safety of pilgrims to the Holy House of God, and performing in safety, ease and reassurance, in preparation for
And it came as follows:
First: As of Monday, Shawwal 25, 1447 AH, corresponding to April 13, 2026 AD, residents wishing to enter the Holy Capital are required to obtain official permits from the competent authorities, and entry will be prohibited for those who do not obtain these permits, with the exception of those who hold a resident ID issued by Mecca, or Whoever has a Hajj permit, or a work permit in the Holy Sites, issued electronically through “Absher Individuals” and “Muqeem Portal” with technical integration with the “Taysar” platform.
Second: The last date for the departure of those arriving with an Umrah visa from the Kingdom is Saturday (1 of Dhul-Qi’dah 1447 AH corresponding to April 18, 2026 AD).
Third: Stop issuing Umrah permits via the platform "Asceticism" For citizens of the Kingdom and countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council, residents inside the Kingdom, and holders of other visas from (Saturday 1 Dhu al-Qi’dah 1447 AH corresponding to April 18, 2026 AD) until (Sunday 14 Dhu al-Hijjah 1447 AH corresponding to May 31 2026 AD).
Fourth: Not allowing holders of visas to enter or remain in the Holy City of Mecca. All types of visas, with the exception of those holding a Hajj visa, as of (Saturday 1 Dhul-Qi’dah 1447 AH corresponding to April 18, 2026 AD).
The Ministry of Interior called for adherence to the instructions regulating this year’s Hajj season, and to cooperate with the relevant authorities to achieve the security and safety of the guests of God, stressing that violating these instructions exposes perpetrators to statutory penalties.
