المملكة: The Red Crescent in Mecca will train more than 13,000 people during the first quarter of 2026


The Department of Training and Community Education registered Saudi Red Crescent AuthoritybMakkah Al-Mukarramah Region During the first quarter of 2026 AD, (448) training courses were implemented, from which (13,581) male and female trainees benefited, as part of its programs aimed at raising awareness First aid and enhancing community readiness to deal with emergency situations.

The Authority explained that the training programs witnessed an increasing demand from various segments of society, as the number of male trainees reached (10,003) trainees, while the number of female trainees reached (3,578) trainees, which reflects the growing community awareness of the importance of acquiring first aid skills and rapid intervention in critical moments.

Programs Basic

It indicated that these courses varied between basic and advanced programs, in addition to awareness-raising initiatives targeting individuals and government and private agencies, with the aim of enabling community members to play an effective role in saving lives before the arrival of emergency teams.

The authority stressed the importance of joining the “First Eight” program, which is one of the qualitative national initiatives to raise community readiness during the first eight golden minutes of the emergency, because of its crucial role in increasing the chances of survival and reducing complications.

The Authority concluded by emphasizing the continuation of its efforts to spread emergency culture and enhance community partnership, which contributes to building an aware society capable of responding effectively to emergency situations, in order to achieve the goals of raising the quality of life and community safety.
