Abdullah bin Zayed discusses regional developments by telephone with a number of foreign ministers

During phone calls with a number of foreign ministers of brotherly and friendly countries, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, discussed regional developments in the wake of the brutal and terrorist Iranian missile attacks that targeted the UAE and a number of countries in the region.

His Highness held telephone discussions with Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, Tom Berendsen, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his thanks and appreciation to the ministers for their countries’ solidarity with the UAE, stressing the safety of all residents and visitors in the country.

His Highness discussed with the ministers the current developments related to the announcement by His Excellency Donald Trump, President of the United States of America, of a two-week ceasefire between the United States and Iran.

The phone calls addressed the need to unify the efforts of the international community in order to consolidate sustainable peace in the region and support the pillars of security and stability at the regional and international levels.
