Two global goals

An important hat-trick

Al-Ettifaq team player, Swiss David Mariani, scored three goals against Majd, in an important “hat-trick” that led his team to win five, leaving last place and approaching the warm zone.

The standings of the tournament teams are witnessing an exciting convergence in the number of points of the teams competing for the second ticket, as they occupy positions from second (Al Arabi, 41 points) to fifth (Dibba Al Hisn, Hatta, and Al Orouba, 40 points), with a difference of one point, and with Al Dhaid sixth (38 points), with a difference of three points, which confirms the strength of the competition.

Waiting for Al Dhaid

Al Dhaid team dropped from second place to sixth place, due to undergoing a rest in this round, which directly affected its position in the ranking table, and this reflects that any of the teams competing for promotion could be affected by waiting in any of the upcoming rounds.

National scorers

Al-Oruba player, Mohammed Al-Hammadi, succeeded in scoring his 13th goal this season, which is the highest tally scored by a citizen player in the first-class competition in many seasons. In a rare snapshot, the league’s top scorer, the Fujairah player, Frenchman Sulaiman Bin Bashir, missed the score, and his current tally stands at 21 goals.

Moataz and Al Arabi

Al-Arabi Club coach, Moataz Abdullah, succeeded in leading his team to an important victory over Al-Fujairah in his stadium, reaching the runner-up position, confirming his strong presence as a direct competitor for promotion this season, in the best achievement for the national coach.
