“A gift from God.” Mbappe describes his experience with Real Madrid in moving words

Frenchman Kylian Mbappé, the Real Madrid star, described his experience with the royal team in moving words, stressing that it is the best club in the world.
Kylian Mbappé was on the cover of GQ magazine, where he gave an interview in which he talked about football and Real Madrid.
Mbappe said: “For me, playing for Real Madrid is a gift from God. It is a wonderful opportunity to live my passion, play in the best matches, and be in the best club in the world. I am always grateful to be on the field, and to wake up every morning and do what makes me happy.”
He added: “I love being on the field, and feeling that I am stepping on the best ground in the world, in a country that is considered one of the best countries in the world in football.”
Regarding his football career, Mbappe explained: “Reaching the summit is not the most difficult part, but staying there and continuing to progress. The football career never goes exactly as we imagine it. There are things we can control and others we cannot.”
He continued: “Today, I am in the environment that I dreamed of since childhood, because I have always strived to provide the necessary means to get here, through hard work, discipline and high standards.”
He continued: “Without a doubt, my playing style has evolved. In the beginning, I was playing very spontaneously. I was thinking primarily about expressing myself and making a difference.”
He continued: “As time passed, I realized that football is not just what I do with the ball. It is also everything that surrounds it: teamwork, consistency, and responsibilities. These days, talent alone is not enough. What makes the difference is consistency.”
Regarding his upcoming participation with the France national team in the 2026 World Cup, Mbappe concluded his statements by saying: “The World Cup is a special moment. We win it together, with perseverance and determination. We have great ambition, but we also have the humility to realize that nothing is guaranteed.”
