Queiroz leads Ghana in the World Cup

The Ghana Football Association officially announced on Monday the appointment of veteran Portuguese coach Carlos Queiroz as technical director of the first team, to lead the team in the 2026 World Cup finals scheduled in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Queiroz will lead Ghana against strong teams such as England, Croatia, and Panama.

The Ghanaian national team will begin its campaign against Panama on June 17 in Toronto, Canada.

Queiroz marks his fifth consecutive appearance in the World Cup Finals (Portugal 2010, Iran 2014, 2018 and 2022, then Ghana 2026).
