المملكة: Climate fluctuations: heavy rain and torrential rain in most areas until Sunday

Most regions of the Kingdom witness Thunderstormsranging from moderate to heavy, starting tomorrow, Wednesday, until next Sunday, accompanied by torrential rains and possible “tornadoes,” amid official warnings of the necessity of adhering to public safety instructions.
He revealed The National Center of Meteorology stated that the climate condition includes the northern border areas, Al-Jawf, Tabuk, Medina, Hail, and Al-Qassim, with moderate to heavy rains that peak on Wednesday and Thursday.

The Center explained that the effects extend to parts of The Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, to include the governorates of Taif, Maysan, Adham, Al-Ardiyat, Turba, Al-Muwayh, Al-Khurma, and Raniyah, with rainfall reaching heavy amounts until Friday.
He stated that the Riyadh region will be affected by heavy rains on Wednesday and Thursday in the governorates of Diriyah, Al-Muzahmiya, Al-Kharj, Al-Dalam, Al-Hareeq, Al-Rain, Al-Qiddiya, Rumah, Al-Aflaj, and Hotat Bani. Tamim.
He added that the situation includes Al-Majma’ah, Al-Zulfi, Al-Ghat, Al-Quwayiyah, Al-Dawadmi, Afif, Shaqra, Thadig, Huraymila, Darma, and Marat, with it turning into light rain on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, while Wadi Al-Dawasir and Al-Salil will witness heavy rain on Wednesday.

He pointed out that the Al-Baha region and its governorates were affected, in addition to the Asir region, which includes Abha, Khamis Mushayt, Ahad Rufaidah, Sarat Ubaida, Dhahran Al-Janoub, Al-Harjah, Bisha, Al-Namas, Tanomah, Rijal Almaa, Bariq, Mahayil Asir, Al-Majaridah, Belqarn, and Al-Farsha, with moderate rains that will continue until Sunday.
He pointed out that the Jazan region is witnessing similar precipitation, including Al-Raith, Haroub, Al-Daer, Al-Aydabi, Fayfa, Al-Arda, and Al-Harath, while the situation extends to the eastern region. Hafar Al-Batin and Al-Khafji will be hit by heavy rains starting Thursday and reaching their peak on Sunday.
Violent weather phenomena
He warned of violent weather phenomena accompanying the situation, including falling winds raising dust, flowing torrents, hail, and rising waves, with the possibility of the formation of “repressive tornadoes” or water towers in areas with heavy rain.
