A gradual return of private early childhood centers to in-person education next Thursday

The Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai stated that, based on the updates issued by the Education, Human Development and Community Council, it was decided to gradually return private early childhood centers in Dubai to in-person education, starting with the centers located in government headquarters and commercial buildings, as of Thursday, April 16, 2026, provided that prior approval is obtained from the Authority, and in line with comprehensive safety controls and procedures, to ensure the return of children to a safe and supportive environment.

The authority stressed that the safety and quality of life of children, along with educational and administrative staff and society, remains a top priority at all times, calling on everyone to obtain information from official sources in the country, and to avoid circulating any unreliable information.
