Trump to Fox Business: The war on Iran is over

US President Donald Trump said, in an interview with Fox Business Network, that the war on Iran has ended, according to the channel’s anchor, Maria Bartiromo.

The anchor said: “I just left the president. It was a great interview. He talked a lot about the economy, the war with Iran, and NATO.”

She added: “There is one point I would like to leave you with: I told him, Mr. President, you keep talking about the war in the past tense – was, was, was. So I said to him: Is it over? He said: Yes, it is over.”
