Variation in the prices of meat, chicken and fish in Saudi Arabia during the month
Official data showed that the prices of meat, chicken and fish varied in Saudi Arabiaduring last March on a monthly basis.
The bulletin of average prices of goods and services issued by the Statistics Authority revealed that the price of Fresh beefrose by 0.6% to 53.2 riyals.
Meat prices
The price of fresh lamb meat rose by 1.3% to 67.5 riyals per kilo, while the price of imported chilled lamb decreased by 0.7% to 55.2 riyals.
According to the bulletin, the price of fresh camel meat decreased on a monthly basis last March, by 0.1%, recording 54.5 riyals per kilogram.
Chicken prices
The price of Local fresh chicken increased by 0.4% on a monthly basis last March, recording 17.3 riyals.
The price of local frozen chicken increased by 0.3% to 18.8 riyals, while the price of imported frozen chicken increased by 1.1% to 18.2 riyals.
The price of fresh chicken thighs decreased by 2.3% to 9.6 riyals, while the price of breast fillets increased. Fresh by 0.3% to 20.6 riyals.
Fish prices
The price of kingfish decreased by 1.9% to 66.8 riyals per kilogram, while the price of grouper decreased by 0.7% to 57 riyals last March.
The price of fresh peeled shrimp increased last March on a monthly basis by 0.5% to 80.4 riyals per kilogram.
