Decline in the prices of gold and other precious metals

Capitals, June 3 / WAM / Gold prices declined during early trading today, Wednesday, as the price of gold in spot transactions fell by 0.2% to $4,476.50 per ounce by 01:03 GMT.

US gold futures for August delivery also fell by 0.3% to record $4,504.40 per ounce.

Silver fell in spot transactions by 0.5% to $74.73 per ounce, platinum fell by 0.2% to $1,932.25, and palladium fell by 0.3% to $1,365.25 per ounce.
