Oil prices rise and Brent records $97.05 per barrel

Capitals, June 3 / WAM / Oil prices rose by more than 1% during early trading on Wednesday, continuing their gains after reaching their highest levels in a week during the previous session.

Brent crude futures rose by $1.05, or 1.09%, to reach $97.05 per barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude rose by $1.01, or 1.08%, recording $94.77 per barrel.
