"Women Dubai" Organizing the 31st mass wedding

DUBAI, 15 APRIL / WAM / The Al Nahda Women’s Association in Dubai organized the thirty-first edition of the mass wedding under the generous patronage of the wife of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum.

The wedding witnessed the wedding of 16 brides and grooms to the marriage nest in an atmosphere full of happiness, in the Rashid Hall in the Dubai World Trade Center, amid a family and community presence that reflected the depth of this sustainable humanitarian initiative.

This occasion came to confirm that weddings in Dubai do not stop and that the values ​​of community cohesion are able to overcome various challenges, as the collective wedding turned into a message of hope that reflects the ability of society to create happiness and enhance family stability.

Her Excellency Khawla Al Naboodah, Vice President of the Al Nahda Women’s Association in Dubai, explained that holding this edition comes under exceptional circumstances that the region is going through, stressing that Dubai, thanks to its wise leadership, is able to confront challenges, turn them into opportunities, and continue to make its people happy in light of the security, safety and stability it enjoys.

Al Naboodah added that the reassurance the state has achieved for citizens and residents is the result of the sincere efforts of the wise leadership to protect the nation and preserve its gains.

Al Naboodah stressed that this edition was distinguished by its focus on the value of family stability in line with the directions of the “Year of the Family,” noting that the group wedding is not limited to supporting marriage only, but rather contributes to building stable families that are the nucleus of a cohesive society capable of facing challenges.

In an expressive gesture, the event hosted an inspiring model of an Emirati family that includes a father, mother, son, and daughter who emerged from the tenth session of the group wedding and gave birth to 5 children, embodying a true success story that reflects the positive impact of this initiative in enhancing family stability in the long term.

The “group wedding” organized by the association is one of the pioneering community initiatives that aims to support young people about to get married and reduce their financial burdens, in addition to consolidating the values ​​of solidarity and compassion within society.

While a smile appeared on the faces of the grooms and their families, the deeper message of this event seemed clear, which is Dubai’s approach, leadership and vision capable of creating joy, and that investing in the family remains the cornerstone of building a more stable and cohesive society.

For her part, Afraa Mubarak Al-Hai, general supervisor of the group wedding at the Al Nahda Women’s Association in Dubai, confirmed that this initiative represents one of the most prominent sustainable community projects that the association is keen to develop year after year, noting that the group wedding is not limited to being a celebratory occasion, but rather an integrated program aimed at supporting young people and enabling them to start their family life on stable foundations by reducing financial burdens and enhancing awareness of the importance of building a cohesive family.

Al-Hai added that the current edition witnessed a large turnout and interaction, which reflects the community’s confidence in this initiative and its role in consolidating the values ​​of solidarity and cohesion, stressing the association’s keenness to continue developing the event in line with the state’s trends in supporting the family and enhancing its stability.
