The next stage in the UAE is aimed at accelerating the transformation towards specific projects and policies

Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, confirmed that the UAE, with a proactive leadership vision and the directives of its wise leadership, continues to establish a unique government model based on integration and the spirit of one team, and is based on anticipating the future, transforming challenges into opportunities, and enhancing readiness for the next stage through flexible government priorities that keep pace with global developments and achieve societal impact.
This came during the upcoming Government Priorities Forum, which was organized by the Government Accelerators Center in the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, with the participation of more than 40 federal entities, and in the presence of His Excellency Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, and His Excellency Hoda Al Hashemi, Assistant Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Strategic Affairs.
Mohammed Al Gergawi said, “The next stage for the UAE is about accelerating the shift towards specific projects and policies within more influential government priorities… and in a manner commensurate with a new phase of economic growth.”
He also stressed, “The directives of the wise leadership are to keep pace with the changes and prepare for a phase that bears more rapid economic, societal and developmental growth.”
The Minister also stressed during the meeting that the accelerating global challenges require developing government thinking tools and redefining the concepts of excellence and competitiveness to keep pace with global transformations. He also explained that the joint work teams lead the design and implementation of transformative and quality projects, based on integration between entities and accelerating achievement, in a way that enhances the country’s readiness for the next stage, achieves a tangible positive impact on the life of society, and contributes to consolidating the UAE’s leadership globally.
The forum witnessed a comprehensive review of a package of upcoming government priorities, through two main stages: The first focused on evaluating current government projects according to impact and priority criteria, while the second was devoted to developing integrative models for joint government projects that support achieving the goals of the next stage.
The participants also discussed rearranging government priorities to keep pace with global changes and enhance the UAE’s readiness through specific projects that focus on future growth opportunities, in addition to reviewing methodologies for accelerating implementation and directing resources efficiently towards the most impactful initiatives.
The forum also included a presentation of the most prominent transformational projects that reflect the UAE’s approach to transforming challenges into opportunities, in addition to a review of existing projects that have achieved a positive impact at the national level, and new initiatives that were developed based on promising development opportunities in vital sectors.
