Louvre Abu Dhabi invites visitors to learn about the iconic dome
Abu Dhabi, April 17 / WAM / The Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum is organizing a guided tour to explore the museum through new ways of interacting with its iconic architecture, through the architecture experience.
The experience, which is held every Saturday of the week, encourages visitors to interact with art and design through a journey that encourages contemplation, is led by guides specialized in education, and provides an in-depth insight into the ideas, challenges, and innovations behind the establishment of the museum – from its cultural symbolism and close connection to Emirati heritage, all the way to the engineering feat represented by its construction on the banks of the sea.
The experience includes seven stations around the museum, as well as a private tour of the museum’s iconic dome, which gives visitors a distinctive perspective of light, space, and meticulous architectural design, and combines storytelling with enhanced appreciation of the aesthetic aspects of architecture through a close-up look at the most prominent landmarks of Louvre Abu Dhabi.
Each visitor will receive a copy of the book Louvre Abu Dhabi: The Story of an Architectural Project, to provide additional support and deeper understanding during the visit.
