Adding a lane on Sheikh Zayed Road for those coming from Hessa Street towards Abu Dhabi

The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai announced that it will add a lane on Sheikh Zayed Road for those coming from Hessa Street towards Abu Dhabi.
The Authority said in a video published on its account on the “X” platform regarding its projects for the month of June 2026 that the projects intended to be implemented contribute to ensuring safe and smooth transportation in various regions of the Emirate of Dubai.
She added that it will implement traffic improvements to the intersection of Trade Center Street and Marasi Drive on June 12, in addition to implementing traffic improvement works on the collector road at the intersection of Airport Street and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road.
It confirmed that it will open the street linking Emirates Road and Sheikh Zayed Bin Hamdan Street to serve Villanova and Ranches 3, and the street linking Al Qudra Street and Hessa Street between Studio City and Motor City on June 28.
It indicated that it will add a lane on Latifa Bin Hamdan Street, with the addition of a detour in both directions on June 30.
