25 thousand participants embody community awareness in the “Fortress, O Homeland” event

The Hasantak Ya Watan race witnessed the participation of more than 25,000 citizens from various segments of society in the country, in a distinctive national scene that reflected the established values of unity, cohesion and community solidarity that characterize the United Arab Emirates.
The large attendance embodied the spirit of belonging that unites everyone living in the Emirates, stressing the importance of community preparedness and consolidating the concept of shared responsibility among all segments of society.
The race started from Wahat Al Karama, a prominent national edifice in Abu Dhabi, all the way to the Abu Dhabi Erth Hotel (the Armed Forces Officers’ Club and Hotel), on a path that carried deep national connotations that confirmed the strong connection between the people of the Emirates and their deep-rooted values, translating a clear message that protecting the homeland is a shared responsibility embodied in awareness, solidarity, and the spirit of national belonging.
The event witnessed wide participation that included senior citizens, people of determination, youth and families, in addition to professional runners, in a scene that reflects the unity of Emirati society and the integration of its roles in supporting national initiatives and establishing a culture of positive participation.
Participants and their families flocked to the accompanying community village in Abu Dhabi Heritage, which formed a vibrant interactive space and included various activities, entertainment programs and community initiatives that enhanced the spirit of communication and participation.
