المملكة: 19 million beneficiaries of chronic disease care and 4.2 million beneficiaries of prevention services in 2025

Registered The Ministry of Health during the year 2025 AD, exceptional and unprecedented leaps, exceeding the ceilings of its annual targets, to establish an advanced medical model that puts humans at the top of development priorities.

Official indicators showed a remarkable success in the preventive care sector, as about 4.2 million people benefited from early examinations, exceeding the target number of 700,000, achieving a jump equivalent to six times the planned plan.

The statistics revealed that the urgent care system registered 8.3 million beneficiaries during the year, exceeding the annual target set at 4.5 million beneficiaries, in a clear indication of the development of the speed of medical response and the readiness of facilities.

The reports showed a remarkable growth in safe delivery services and maternal and child health, with the beneficiaries reaching 3.4 million women, achieving a growth rate of 55% compared to the original target estimated at 2.2 million.

With regard to chronic disease management, medical records documented the provision of care and follow-up to about 19 million beneficiaries, achieving 77% of the strategic goal for the year 2025, to ensure improving the quality of life for those affected.

The indicators touched on the quality of monitoring health data, as the accuracy of monitoring causes of death reached 97.49%, exceeding the target of 96%, which strongly supports evidence-based and reliable medical decision-making.

The relevant authorities attributed this huge achievement to institutional integration between 20 regulatory and executive bodies, led by the Ministry of Health, the Health System Transformation Program, the Food and Drug Authority, Health Holding, Weqaya, the Health Insurance Council, and the various ministerial committees.

The report concluded by emphasizing that this strong health alliance represents the core of the transformation that the Kingdom is witnessing, to create a sustainable system capable of absorbing today’s challenges and creating tomorrow’s health with confidence and ability.
