المملكة: Meteorology: Warns of heavy rain in the Qassim region
The National Center of Meteorology warned of heavy rains in the Qassim region, including the city of Buraidah, and the governorates of Unayzah, Al-Asiyah, Al-Bada’i, Al-Bukayriyah, Al-Shamasiyah, Al-Mithnab, Uyun Al-Jawa’a, Abanat, Al-Rass, Al-Nabhaniyah, Riyad Al-Khubara, Dhariya, and Uqlat Al-Suqour, in addition to the centers of Al-Thamriya, Al-Ammar, Al-Khubhara, and Al-Fawwarah. He stated that the situation – God Almighty willing – will begin at two o’clock this evening, and continue until eight o’clock in the evening, and it is expected that it will be accompanied by weather effects that include high-speed winds, a lack of horizontal visibility, thunderbolts, hail, and torrential rains. He called on everyone to be careful, adhere to safety instructions, and avoid floodwaters and valleys.
