Ahead of the upcoming round of negotiations…the largest aircraft carrier in the world returns to the Middle East

The US aircraft carrier USS Gerald Ford has returned to the Middle East again, according to CBS News, citing an American official, ahead of an expected round of negotiations between the United States and Iran.
The network said that the aircraft carrier, which is the largest in the world, crossed the Suez Canal into the Red Sea, accompanied by two destroyers. The USS Gerald Ford joined the other aircraft carrier, the USS Abraham Lincoln, operating in the northern Arabian Sea, while the US military imposed a naval blockade on Iranian ports.
It is noteworthy that the aircraft carrier USS Gerald Ford was forced to abandon combat operations as a result of a fire that broke out in the main laundry area on board, on March 12.
The US Army reported that the fire caused severe damage to about 100 beds.
The US Navy stated that investigations into the fire are still ongoing, as the army had previously confirmed that it broke out in the washing area, while it was not linked to any combat actions.
Reports also revealed that she suffered major problems with the toilet system while at sea.
