The Hajj plan is a qualitative leap in employing artificial intelligence

The head of religious affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, confirmed that the plan for the next Hajj season is a qualitative leap in religious services and the use of artificial intelligence to serve pilgrims.

Al-Sudais said, in a statement today, Wednesday, that the operational plan for the Hajj season aims to improve the quality of religious services provided to the guests of God, in a way that enhances the experience of pilgrims in an integrated faith atmosphere.

He explained that the plan is based on well-established legal and methodological foundations, and aims to enrich the religious and cognitive experience of pilgrims through an integrated system of specific programs and initiatives implemented during the Hajj season.

He pointed out that the operational plan includes more than 150 specific initiatives, which are being implemented with the aim of creating a qualitative shift in the level of religious services provided within the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, keeping pace with the aspirations of pilgrims and enhancing the quality of performance.

He added that the plan enhances global access to services across 60 different languages, through an advanced digital system and modern technologies, ensuring that awareness and guidance messages reach various nationalities and languages.

Al-Sudais stressed that employing artificial intelligence technologies within the operational plan represents a qualitative shift in the development of religious services, and is in line with the Kingdom’s goals in the field of artificial intelligence, which contributes to improving the experience of the pilgrims and facilitating their journey of faith.
