Commemorative gold and silver coins inspired by the “Proud of the Emirates” campaign

The Emirates Numismatics Factory, a mint and refining house for precious metals in the UAE, in cooperation with the Dubai Gold District, launched a limited-edition collection of commemorative coins minted in gold and silver, in celebration of the “Proud of the Emirates” campaign.
The currency was inspired by the identity and heritage of the UAE. The coins were minted in the weight of one ounce of investment-grade gold and silver, documenting a moment in time that reflects feelings of pride, unity and steadfastness throughout the country, while providing sustainable value to collectors and those interested in sentimental value.
This collection is available in the Dubai Gold District, which provides an opportunity to acquire a piece that documents a very important milestone in the nation’s journey.
The proceeds from the sale of these commemorative coins will be allocated to “Furjan Dubai”, an Emirati social institution that aims to enhance community life and improve social well-being in Dubai’s neighborhoods.
Rashid Al Harmoudi, Senior Commercial Director at Ithra Dubai, said that the initiative represents a gesture of appreciation for the spirit of unity and strength shown by the UAE in the most important moments, and we at the Dubai Gold District are proud of our partnership with the Emirates Coins Factory in work that reflects cohesion and common steadfastness, and contributes effectively to serving society.
He added that these coins express part of the “return of the favor” to what the state provided, and provide individuals the opportunity to acquire and keep them as a permanent memory that documents this exceptional stage.
Issa Saeed Al Falasi, Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Emirates Numismatics Factory, said that these special commemorative coins were designed as a symbol of gratitude and solidarity, and they reflect the firm support, unity and leadership that the UAE has shown during exceptional times. Each piece represents a tribute to a nation that continues to stand strongly alongside its people and partners, with the proceeds allocated to support Furjan Dubai, which enhances sustainable societal impact.
He explained that the coins offered include gold and silver, weighing an ounce for each piece, with the karat of gold being 999.9 and silver being 999, indicating that the quantities offered are not specific to a specific number.
He pointed out that the initiative is not limited to the commemorative aspect only, but includes a societal dimension, as a portion of the sales proceeds will be allocated, in cooperation with the “Furjan Dubai” initiative, to support social and national projects.
He explained that the collection of limited-edition gold and silver coins is now available at the factory’s store in the “Dubai Gold District” and online through the “Emirates Coins Factory” website, with the possibility of delivery to all parts of the Emirates.
Alia Al Shamlan, Managing Director of Furjan Dubai, stressed that this qualitative national initiative embodies the values of solidarity and giving, and reflects the spirit of social responsibility that distinguishes the national institutions of the United Arab Emirates, noting that the step contributes to supporting purposeful community initiatives, and emphasizes the importance of integrating efforts between various entities to serve the community.
She added: We are keen to build effective strategic partnerships with government agencies and private sector institutions, which contributes to enhancing the quality of life for Emirati citizens, and reflects positively on members of society, pointing out that the initiatives of the “Emirates Coins Factory” and “Dubai Gold District” confirm the importance of these efforts, and also support innovative projects and ideas that contribute to providing a supportive environment for residential communities in Dubai.
