Expectations of a return "El Nino" Mid-2026.. and a heat wave hits the world

The World Meteorological Organization predicted the development of a phenomenon "El Nino" Starting in May-July 2026, with a rapid rise in Pacific Ocean temperatures.

Models indicate the potential for broad climate impacts, including warming Temperatureglobally and changing rainfall patterns.

The organization stressed the importance of seasonal forecasts in supporting preparedness efforts, especially in the agriculture, water, energy and health sectors, noting the issuance of additional updates in May to enhance the accuracy of estimates and support decision makers.
