Yesterday, the Tenders and Auctions Board opened the envelopes for 5 general tenders, for which 30 different bids were submitted, including a tender for the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre, to obtain the services of cleaning workers.
The center desires to obtain the services of cleaning workers, so that the contractor that will be selected is committed to providing qualified and trained cleaning workers to support the requirements of daily operation and the requirements of events at the center, with a commitment to applying the highest standards of cleanliness and quality during normal operating periods and during the holding of major events and exhibitions, as the tender received 14 bids, the least of which amounted to 47 million dinars.
For its part, Bapco Exploration and Production issued a tender to purchase and supply triethylene glycol used to dry gas, indicating that the gas carries water from non-associated gas wells as one of its common products.
Bapco Exploration and Production indicated that this leads to the free water present in the gas under high pressure to form gas hydrates that prevent the flow of gas and corrode the mining of the system, and therefore must be removed using triethylene glycol, as the tender received 5 bids, the least of which amounted to 1.2 million dinars.
In turn, Plage Algeria Real Estate Development Company has offered to supply operating supplies and equipment for guest room linens for the Tivoli and Avani hotels within the Plage Algeria project.
She indicated that this tender comes in the field of supplying and delivering hotel operating supplies, including linen textiles for guest rooms, including upholstery textiles, bed covers, and bathroom towels for the Tifolio and Avani hotels within the project. The tender received 4 bids, the least of which amounted to 96 thousand dinars.
On the other hand, the Central Warehouses Department – Electricity and Water Authority wants to supply water equipment (Strap Saddle MCI), for which it received a single bid, amounting to 32 thousand dinars.
The Ministry of Social Development also wishes to provide 3 information technology support employees to work at the Ministry’s headquarters and its affiliated buildings, stressing that bidders must adhere to all technical and logistical requirements, including providing the necessary means of transportation and equipment, as it obtained 6 bids, the least of which amounted to 15 thousand dinars.
