An American senator calls on Trump to end negotiations with Iran and resume the war

The Chairman of the Armed Services Committee in the US Senate, Senator Roger Wicker, called for ending negotiations with Iran and resuming military strikes.
Wicker, a Republican, said in a blog post on the “X” platform: “The time for negotiating with the Iranian regime has ended. Their commitment to any promise or agreement can never be trusted. US President Donald Trump must direct his military leaders to complete the destruction of Iran’s conventional military capabilities and eliminate any last remnants of its nuclear program.”
He added: “This is the only way to ensure lasting stability in the region.”
