“Tenders”: 7.2 million dinars for maintenance and inspection services at “Bapco Exploration”

The Tenders and Auctions Board opened the envelopes for 11 general tenders, presenting 52 different bids, including a tender for Bapco Exploration and Production, to provide maintenance and inspection services during temporary suspension operations. Bapco Exploration stated that the scope of work includes providing equipment, materials and skilled employees to effectively implement temporary stop services and work on a call-out basis, ensuring smooth operations and immediate response to the project requirements, as the tender received 9 bids, the least of which amounted to 7.2 million dinars.

For its part, Bapco Refining Company launched a tender to obtain maintenance and support services for all types and brands of process analysis devices from several suppliers, installed in the refinery’s operations areas, core works, and Bapco’s modernization program. She explained that the scope of work includes maintenance and support for all process analysis devices, such as maintenance and support services, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for the hardware, software, and sample processing system, and replacing gas cylinders for calibration and transportation. The tender received 4 bids, the least of which amounted to 1.5 million dinars.

In another tender, Bapco Refining wants to obtain maintenance and technical support services for laboratory analysis devices for several types of brands installed in the refinery laboratory, where it obtained 6 bids, the least of which amounted to 397 thousand dinars.

In a third tender, the company wants to supply heater pipe supports for the crude distillation unit No. (4A CDU) during the scheduled shutdown for the year 2027, as it obtained a single bid, amounting to 120 thousand dinars.

In turn, the Ministry of Public Works issued a tender to rehabilitate roads in 3 industrial zones (Sitra 601, Mina Salman 343, and Al Ma’ameer 634), as the project includes resurfacing and reconstructing a number of roads in the industrial zone. The Ministry explained that the scope of work includes installing and re-laying asphalt for some roads, removing existing asphalt, replacing the road’s base layer, and laying three new layers of asphalt on other roads, in addition to planning roads and installing traffic signs “if necessary.” The tender received 7 different bids, the lowest bid of which was 719 thousand dinars.

On the other hand, Gulf Air Group launched a tender aiming to supply single-use consumables of high quality and durability, in addition to identifying and contracting with qualified suppliers capable of providing a variety of single-use products that meet the required quality requirements and operational standards. The tender received a single bid, amounting to 596 thousand dinars.

In turn, the Electricity and Water Authority issued a tender for the maintenance of the Electricity and Water Authority’s subscriber services building in Juffair, which consists of 12 floors, indicating that the services include maintenance of air conditioning systems, standby generators, lighting units, electrical panels, plumbing works, elevators, and other related components. It obtained 8 bids, the least of which amounted to 430 thousand dinars.

In another tender, the Electricity and Water Authority wants to supply personal protective equipment for the authority’s employees. The tender received 4 bids, the lowest amounting to 291 thousand dinars. As for the third tender, the authority wants to supply water transformers (Adaptor Poly 50

On the other hand, the Bahrain Gas Expansion Company issued a tender to modernize the energy monitoring system in the third central power plant. Due to the frequent malfunctions and the aging of its components, the energy monitoring system monitors electrical loads and controls them by carrying electrical distribution equipment with a voltage of 11 kilovolts. The tender received two bids, the least of which amounted to 192 thousand dinars.

In turn, the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture would like to launch a tender to provide and deliver treated water to various sites, indicating that the scope of work includes providing tankers, labor drivers, and all the necessary requirements to transport water from treatment plants to the specified sites. The tender received bids, the least of which amounted to 23 thousand dinars.
