2.3 billion dirhams in Aldar’s net profits in the first quarter

Yesterday, Aldar Group announced the financial and operational results for the first quarter of 2026, recording an increase in net profits after tax by 20% on an annual basis, to reach 2.3 billion dirhams, driven by revenues from development projects under construction, and the flexibility of a diversified investment real estate portfolio that is less exposed to market fluctuations, while earnings per share grew by 25% to reach 0.25 dirhams.
The group reported, in a statement, that it achieved total sales amounting to 6.7 billion dirhams during the first quarter, of which 5.9 billion dirhams came from its projects within the UAE. Aldar’s sales also attracted continuous demand from international buyers and residents, as the value of sales for this segment amounted to 5.3 billion dirhams, representing 88% of the company’s total sales in the country.
The volume of accumulated revenues for development projects rose to 72.1 billion dirhams, of which 62.2 billion dirhams were for projects within the country. Aldar also strengthened its land stock with a total development value of 61 billion dirhams, which included strategic plots of land in key destinations in Abu Dhabi, in addition to expanding the joint project with Dubai Holding.
In terms of investment business, Aldar Investment recorded a growth in adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization by 18% year-on-year to reach 905 million dirhams, supported by high occupancy rates and contributions from strategic acquisitions, while the value of assets under management rose to 52 billion dirhams.
Aldar maintained a strong financial position that supports its flexibility and strategy for deploying capital, as the total available liquidity reached 33.2 billion dirhams at the end of March, which included 13.9 billion dirhams of available and unrestricted cash liquidity, and 19.4 billion dirhams of confirmed and undrawn bank facilities.
The Chairman of Aldar’s Board of Directors, Mohammed Khalifa Al Mubarak, confirmed that the strong performance reflects the development of the company’s business model and its ability to face adverse pressures of the economic cycle and deal efficiently with external variables, praising the solid economic foundations in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, which are based on clarity of policies and long-term vision, and sustainable investment in vital sectors, which enhances its position as a global destination for living, working and investing.
