1.62 billion dirhams in revenue "Food Holding" During the first quarter

Abu Dhabi, April 30 / WAM / Food Holding Company, one of the companies affiliated with the “2Point Zero” platform, announced its consolidated financial results for the three-month period ending on March 31, 2026.
Group revenues increased by 23% compared to last year, reaching AED 1.62 billion, driven by strong momentum across its core business sectors. This performance is mainly due to organic growth across the main categories, in addition to continued integration efforts, which reflects the flexibility of the diversified “Nodha Holding” platform and the sustainability of demand for basic food categories.
Total profits also increased by 8% compared to last year to reach 330.8 million dirhams, supported by higher revenues and continuous improvement of operations.
Falal Amin, CEO of Food Holding Group, said that Food began the year 2026 with strong momentum, recording double-digit growth in revenues, which reflects the flexibility of its business platform and the sustainability of demand across its basic categories, while this performance embodies the strength of its integrated operating model and its ability to achieve balanced and continuous growth despite the geopolitical challenges witnessed by the region.
He added that the group continues to play a pivotal role in supporting the food security system in the UAE, by ensuring stable and reliable supplies of basic food commodities.
He explained that in this context, NRTC’s acquisition of Taza constitutes a strategic step that strengthens the group’s presence in the fruit and vegetable sector, and supports its capabilities in the field of distribution across the value chain from farm to consumer, pointing to the continued focus on consolidating operational efficiency and the disciplined expansion of qualitative opportunities that ensure the achievement of sustainable value and remunerative returns.
During the quarter, Food Holding continued to strengthen its role in supporting national food security, leveraging its integrated platform to meet local demand and ensure continuity of supplies across basic food categories.
The group will continue to integrate and expand Taza’s operations under the NRTC umbrella, while working to enhance operational capabilities and distribution capabilities to support growth in the fresh produce, juice and related product categories.
This step confirms Food’s commitment to strengthening its presence in high-demand categories and consolidating vertical integration across the fresh produce value chain.
On the operational level, Food Holding continued to make progress in implementing the enterprise resource planning system, as part of a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing efficiency, integration and scalability across the group’s various units.
