The UAE Professional League is looking to enhance public interaction and develop competitions

The UAE Professional League held its tenth Board of Directors meeting for the 2025-2026 sports season, Thursday, in Abu Dhabi, headed by Abdullah Nasser Al Junaibi, and in the presence of members of the Board of Directors and Executive Management.

The Council discussed the public attendance report, as part of following up on indicators of interaction with the association’s competitions, and identifying the most prominent developments related to this file, as part of an effort to enhance attendance at matches and raise the level of interaction.

The Council also reviewed a number of files related to marketing and commercial affairs, with a focus on developing initiatives that contribute to increasing the commercial value of competitions, strengthening partnerships, and innovating new solutions that support the spread of tournaments and the interaction of audiences with them.

The meeting discussed ways to develop the association’s competitions, in line with the aspirations of the next stage, and contribute to raising the quality of the competitions and enhancing their attractiveness at the artistic and public levels.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Council stressed the success of the League Cup final scheduled for Friday, from various organizational, technical and marketing aspects, ensuring the presentation of an event worthy of the status of the tournament and the aspirations of the fans, in addition to discussing work developments and making a number of recommendations supporting the development process during the coming period.
