Sharjah Club is champion of the Youth Table Tennis League
Sharjah, 1st May / WAM / The table tennis youth of the Sharjah Club were crowned champions of the Youth League, one round before the end of the competitions, after defeating Al Wasl (3-0).
The Youth League witnessed the participation of 14 teams, as the club competed in the second group in a home-and-away format, during which it played 12 matches.
Engineer Sulaiman Abdul Rahman Al Hajri, member of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Sports Club and Head of the Individual Games Department, praised this achievement and the fighting spirit of the players, stressing that the coronation came as a result of organized work and continuous effort throughout the season.
He stressed the club’s pride in its role in providing the country’s national teams with distinguished talents, pointing out their constant pride in the presence of the club’s players among the ranks of the national teams.
