Saeed Al-Hajri meets with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and holds a number of high-level meetings during a working visit to Tbilisi

Tbilisi, 3 May / WAM / His Excellency Saeed Al Hajri, Minister of State, held bilateral meetings during his working visit to the Republic of Georgia with His Excellency Maka Bochorishvili, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, His Excellency David Songulashvili, Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, His Excellency Bata Salya, Minister of Justice, and Gennady Arviladze, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development.

These meetings emphasized the strength and development of bilateral relations between the two countries, as the two sides reviewed ways to enhance cooperation in areas of common interest, especially in priority sectors such as the economy, infrastructure, business services, agriculture, energy, environmental protection and sustainability.

His Excellency Al Hajri renewed the UAE’s commitment to consolidating economic and investment partnerships with Georgia in order to achieve the common interests of the two friendly countries.

For their part, officials in the Republic of Georgia praised the development of bilateral relations, expressing their confidence that this visit and the accompanying meetings will contribute to enhancing cooperation in various fields of common interest.

His Excellency Al Hajri’s visit witnessed high-level participation by officials from a number of government agencies and representatives of the private sector, including His Excellency Omran Sharaf, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Science and Advanced Technology, and representatives of the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, XRG Abu Dhabi Ports, Etihad Rails, Dragon Oil, Sellal Company, and Masdar.
