The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Benin receives the UAE Ambassador on the occasion of the end of his term

Porto Novo, June 16, 2017 / WAM / Her Excellency Corinne Amaury Brunet, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Benin, received His Excellency Mohammed Saeed Al Kaabi, UAE Ambassador to Benin, on the occasion of the end of his term in the presence of a number of ministers, Their Excellencies heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Benin, and representatives of international and regional organizations, in addition to senior officials and directors of departments at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

His Excellency conveyed to Her Excellency the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and his wishes to the government and people of the friendly Republic of Benin for continued progress and prosperity.

For her part, Her Excellency the Ambassador conveyed her greetings to His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and her wishes to the government and people of the UAE for continued progress and prosperity.

Her Excellency praised the role played by His Excellency the Ambassador in strengthening friendly and cooperative relations between the UAE and the Republic of Benin, and the remarkable development that bilateral relations witnessed during his tenure in various political, economic and development fields.

For his part, His Excellency the Ambassador expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to the government of the Republic of Benin for the cooperation he received throughout the period of his work, stressing the UAE’s keenness to consolidate relations of cooperation and partnership between the two friendly countries.
