Trump does not rule out resuming war with Iran

US President Donald Trump said on Sunday that there is a possibility that the United States will resume launching attacks on Iran.

In response to a question from a journalist in West Palm Beach, Florida, about the resumption of attacks against Tehran, Trump said: “There is a possibility that it will happen.”

The US President described the blockade imposed by the United States on Iran as “very nice.”

Trump added: “I was informed of the general outlines of an agreement with Iran, and I will be provided with the exact text of it.”

He continued, saying: “I will soon study the plan that Iran just sent to us,” adding: “I do not imagine that this plan will be acceptable.”

Trump noted that Iran “has been hit very hard, and it will take 20 years to rebuild its capabilities.”

Trump had said on Friday that the United States would not withdraw from its confrontation with Iran early.

Trump stressed in a speech that his country “will not withdraw from its confrontation with Tehran early, and then the problem reappears three years later.”

Trump stressed that “the Iranian proposal presented is insufficient,” adding: “We will not allow Iran to possess a nuclear weapon.”

Trump noted, “Today it is difficult to determine who is the leader in Iran. We are trying to find leaders who we can talk to.”

Trump confirmed that the Iranian army “suffered a crushing blow,” adding: “We have the most powerful submarines in the world and the most powerful army.”
