ADNEC completes its preparations for the largest edition of “Made in the UAE 2026”

The ADNEC Group announced the completion of its preparations for organizing the fifth edition of the “Make in the UAE 2026” platform, which will be launched at the “ADNEC Abu Dhabi Center”, during the period from the fourth to the seventh of this May, pointing out that this edition, which is organized in cooperation with a number of strategic partners, is the largest in the history of the event, as it includes 12 strategic industrial sectors, and attracts an elite group of innovators, manufacturers and investors, thus enhancing its role in accelerating industrial development and supporting innovation.

The group confirmed the center’s readiness to receive large numbers of visitors, while providing integrated solutions that include free parking and transportation services, in addition to implementing smart systems to manage facilities, improve traffic movement, and enhance security measures to ensure a smooth and safe experience.

For his part, Managing Director and CEO of Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) and its group of companies, Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, confirmed that the fifth edition of the “Make in the UAE 2026” platform is the largest in the history of the event in terms of area and number of participants, which reflects the rapid growth of the national industrial sector and the UAE’s position as a global center for industry and investment.

Al Dhaheri told the Emirates News Agency, WAM, that the event area reached 88,000 square meters, a growth of 30% compared to last year, while the number of exhibitors reached 1,245 exhibitors, an increase of 73% compared to the year 2025, representing the seven emirates of the country, more than 2,000 specialized craftsmen, and more than 5,000 products, a growth of 4% compared to the year 2025, and more than 50 sessions, panel discussions, and workshops.

He added that “ADNEC Abu Dhabi Center” provides advanced infrastructure in accordance with the highest international standards, which enhances the experience of exhibitors and visitors, and supports the organization of the event in a way that keeps pace with the country’s position regionally and internationally, noting that the group has harnessed, across its six business sectors, an integrated system of operational and organizational services through national cadres and effective partnerships with the government and private sectors.

He explained that the center provides the largest flexible indoor and outdoor spaces for events in the Middle East, in addition to interconnected halls equipped with the latest technologies, and the creation of a new hall dedicated to hosting accompanying events that are held for the first time within the event, as well as platforms for displaying innovations during the accompanying sessions, pointing to raising the readiness of hotel facilities and surrounding hospitality services to receive local and international delegations.

He stressed that the ADNEC Group contributes, by attracting and organizing major events, to consolidating Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading center for business, tourism and the events industry, which supports sustainable growth in the tourism and business sectors and provides opportunities for international exhibitors and decision makers within an integrated system that includes hospitality, media, event solutions and hosting.

He stressed that the “Make in the Emirates” platform is one of the most prominent incentives for industrial investment, as the previous version contributed to concluding agreements and procurement and supply contracts worth 11 billion dirhams, in addition to attracting qualitative investments and supporting the National Value Added Programme.

For its part, the Ajman Chamber announced its participation in the “Make in the Emirates” platform, in cooperation with the Department of Economic Development in Ajman, within the Ajman Government Pavilion, with an elite group of specialized factories and companies in Ajman.

The Ajman Chamber stated that it aims, through its participation in “Make in the Emirates,” to strengthen and support national industries, and promote the Emirate of Ajman as a sustainable industrial center that includes a wide range of industrial investment opportunities.

For its part, the Tawazun Defense Empowerment Council “Tawazun” is reviewing, during its participation in the “Make in the UAE 2026” platform, a package of regulatory capabilities and industrial solutions, in addition to initiatives supporting the development of the national defense industries system.

The Council highlights its role in developing regulatory frameworks and standards and supervising the conformity and compliance system, in addition to supporting specialized industrial zones, enabling defense manufacturing, and enhancing localization and supply and export chains. It also reviews entrepreneurship support programs for emerging national companies, and its efforts in research and development by building partnerships with government, industrial and academic agencies.

The Secretary-General of the Council, Dr. Nasser Humaid Al-Nuaimi, confirmed that participation reflects Tawazun’s role in enhancing the integration of the defense industrial system and accelerating the adoption of advanced technologies, while the Executive Director of the Strategy and Executive Affairs Sector of the Council, Khalifa Iyada Al-Hamli, indicated that the event constitutes a platform for launching strategic partnerships that support industrial readiness and knowledge transfer.

In the same context, the Trends Group participates in the “Make in the UAE 2026” platform, and presents through its pavilion a package of specialized studies and research focusing on the fields of innovation, artificial intelligence, sustainability, and technology, as part of its support for efforts aimed at enhancing industrial flexibility and consolidating the knowledge economy.
